We feel that the immediate goal of early childhood education should be to instill in young children a love of learning and an internal desire to seek knowledge and understanding of our world. We believe that a Montessori environment encourages a sense of self-confidence and self-discipline along with a sense of responsibility. These qualities enable children to develop their ability to concentrate, make choices, enjoy quiet, be independent and successfully participate in a community. These qualities are the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
